About The Role

Working from one of our custom‑equipped CCTV vans, you will visit all types of clients—commercial, residential, industrial, rail, road, and utility—across the UK. You will carry out CCTV surveys of drainage systems, assess pipe conditions, analyse results, and produce high‑quality reports. All this in conjunction with our Jetting Units when required, therefore you will be responsible for all site activity, ensuring the team works safely and efficiently and that work is completed within the required timescale.

As a CCTV Drainage Engineer you will

  • Operate CCTV equipment to conduct detailed inspections of drainage systems
  • Identify and diagnose issues such as blockages, structural defects, and infiltration
  • Produce accurate reports and recommendations based on survey findings
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to communicate results and proposed solutions
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain and calibrate CCTV equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Keep detailed records of inspections and maintenance activities

Desirable Qualifications & Professional Memberships

  • Valid driving licence
  • Confined space entry certification
  • High‑pressure water jetting certification

Desirable Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience in conducting CCTV drainage surveys
  • Familiarity with industry‑standard reporting software (e.g., WinCan)
  • Knowledge of drainage systems and common issues affecting their performance
