Senior Offshore Jacket Engineer

As a Technical Advisor – Offshore structural, you will support the lead in the preparation of engineering deliverables within the scope assigned:

• Design basis, material and construction specifications
• Independently perform engineering analyses for operational (in‑service) phase (in‑place, fatigue, seismic), non‑operational phase (loadout, transportation, launch, upending and setdown) and accidental phase (boat impact, ALE earthquake, pushover).
• Perform detailed design of jacket appurtenances
• Review analyses/calculations performed by others, provide technical guidance and proactively resolve any discrepancies

Requirements

• Degree in Structural Engineering Design
• Minimum 12 years of experience, with strong technical and practical engineering skills, consistently delivering on quality and schedule
• Proficient user of SESAM GENIE and SESAM suite of software
• Proficiency in performing non‑linear FEA using ABAQUS and USFOS desirable
• In‑depth knowledge of the latest revisions of offshore design codes such as ISO 19901, EN 19902, and applicable DNV & NORSOK codes
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively while managing multiple tasks
• Ability to work both independently and in a multi‑disciplinary team environment
• Ability to work in an office‑based role
