Heavy Plant Engineer

Full‑time position based at our head office in St Martins, Shropshire – postcode SY11 3PZ. The role involves the maintenance and servicing of heavy plant machinery in our workshop.

Our Plant Hire Fleet consists of hydraulic excavators, dozers, dump trucks and other heavy plant machinery from Komatsu, JCB, Hitachi and others.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintenance and fitting duties on a wide range of plant machinery
• Carry out mechanical repairs as required
• Follow instructions as directed
• Keep accurate records as directed
• Liaise and work with outside contract fitting staff
• Aid with the safe operation of the work area
• Comply fully with company health & safety procedures
• Follow work practices and instructions as directed
