Sprinkler Engineer (Contracts & Projects)
£40,000 – £45,000 + Car Allowance of £4,800 + bonus

Are you an engineer with a background in fire suppression, M&E or building services, looking to work for an SME that manufactures its own products, where you will support the installation of water mist systems/fire suppression systems?
Are you looking to join a highly innovative company that provides industrial water mist systems to protect hospitals, museums, tunnels, and critical power systems in a client-facing role?
The successful candidate will provide the central coordination point between product supply, installation subcontractors, main contractors, and clients. Home-based with site visits at key milestones. You will own the document register, drive payment applications, manage subcontractor scope, and be the client-facing delivery contact across all live projects.
The role
- Project programme and procurement coordination, and supply to site installation
- Commissioning document packs – O&Ms, BAFE compliance records, test certificates, as-builts
- Payment applications and subcontractor payment certification
- Subcontractor scope management and day-to-day delivery interface
- Client and main contractor relationship during the delivery phase
The person
- Contracts Engineer or Project Engineer background at a small UK fire, sprinkler, M&E, or building services contractor
- Strong on document control, commissioning packs, and subcontractor management
- Comfortable with payment applications and basic contract administration
