JR PAT Testing is a growing PAT and compliance company looking for experienced PAT Engineers to work on‑site across the UK. Positions are self‑employed with flexible hours, allowing you to choose part‑time or full‑time work.

Employment Details

• Employment type: Self‑employed
• Location: Holloway Road and commutable areas – reasonable commuting distance required.
• Hours: Flexible; part‑time or full‑time schedule.
• Compensation: Earnings are discussed at booking; pro‑rate based on rate per appliance, number of tests, and job dynamics.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2377 PAT qualification or equivalent.
• Own insurance and calibrated testing equipment (minimum once a year).
• Reliable, honest, and self‑motivated with a can‑do attitude.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites, alone or as part of a team.
• Test a range of appliances (microwaves, kettles, computers, etc.) using compliant test instruments.
• Inform users of test results and explain if an appliance is unsafe.
• Record findings in a dedicated PAT test report book or electronic system.
• Complete necessary paperwork such as completion certificates and checklists.
• Maintain equipment in good working order and compliant with regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all tests.
