Electrical Supervisor (Domestic Rewire)

Location: Bristol and surrounding areas (must be locally based or within commutable distance)

Job Type: Full-time | Permanent or Contract (flexible options available)

Start Date: Early July

Salary/Rate: Competitive and negotiable, dependent on experience

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead and oversee a large-scale domestic rewire programme across the Bristol area.

This is a long-term, high-volume social housing contract, offering strong stability and the chance to take ownership of day-to-day site operations across multiple active teams.

You will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard, while maintaining excellent communication with both operatives and residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support 5-6 domestic rewire teams across multiple live sites
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring productivity and programme targets are achieved
  • Monitor progress and ensure works are completed on time and within specification
  • Carry out regular site visits to ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met
  • Ensure adherence to current electrical regulations and health & safety requirements
  • Maintain strong resident/customer relations, ensuring minimal disruption and high satisfaction
  • Report on progress, issues, and performance to senior management

About You

We are looking for a confident and experienced Electrical Supervisor with a strong background in domestic rewires or social housing environments.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in an Electrical Supervisor role
  • Strong background in domestic rewires and/or social housing contracts
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and workloads effectively
  • Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
  • A proactive, hands‑on approach with attention to detail
  • Ability to liaise professionally with residents and site teams

Desirable Certifications

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • 2391 Testing & Inspection (advantageous but not essential)
