Quantity Surveyor-Civils

My Client, a well established civil engineering contractor ia actively recruiting for an accomplished Quantiry Surveyor to augment it’s cost management team in the east midlands.

Responsibilities

• The preparation and management of budgets for groundworks projects and conducting cost estimations (including pricing of materials and labour).
• Liaising with site and production teams and accurately recording progress via regular site visits, participating in frequent on-site project team meetings and ensuring a focus on any cost‑saving opportunities.
• Evaluating and selecting subcontractors based on experience and pricing, ensuring subcontractor payments are managed and compliant with contract terms.
• Measuring work completed on site and preparing interim valuations.
• Assisting in the preparation of final accounts.
• Preparing financial reports and forecasts for groundworks projects, and monitoring projects to identify any potential financial risks.

Qualifications

You will be a qualified Quantity Surveyor with a track record gained within the civil engineering sector and with the ambition to progress within a successful and expanding business.
