Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager
Location: Suffolk and surrounding areas
The Role
We are recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager to join a growing M&E contractor delivering new‑build projects across multiple sectors. This role suits someone technically strong who is ready to take ownership of projects and develop into a more senior position over time.
You will be responsible for managing mechanical packages from pre‑construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical works on new‑build projects from start to finish
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Oversee programme delivery and ensure milestones are met
- Manage quality control and commissioning of mechanical systems
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Monitor costs and assist with variations and commercial control
- Report project progress to senior management
Candidate Profile
This is not a senior‑level role. The client is looking for someone dependable and capable, with the ambition to grow into a Mechanical Project Manager position.
