Electrical Maintenance Engineer | FM Service Provider | Commercial Building Teddington, South West London | Up to £44,700 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading FM service provider based in Teddington, South West London. We are currently recruiting for a Multi‑Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a static, site‑based role within a large and prestigious commercial building.
Applicants must hold a City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 (minimum) or Level 3 qualification, with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for carrying out electrical‑biased M&E and fabric planned and reactive maintenance as part of a close‑knit team of three engineers, working alongside an on‑site supervisor. You will be responsible for all landlord services across the building and will be required to demonstrate hands‑on knowledge and experience of the following:
Electrical
- Lighting – small installations, fault‑finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels and power distribution
- Emergency lighting testing and certification
- Fire alarm testing
- UPS systems – monitoring and taking readings
- Pressurisation units
- BMS – monitoring hot and cold systems
Mechanical & HVAC
- HVAC plant and plant room maintenance
- Air conditioning – air handling units and fan coil units (filter changes and cleaning)
- Chillers – monitoring and resets
- Pumps, motors and cooling tower maintenance
- Water treatment – temperature checks (non‑dosing)
Fabric & General
- Plumbing – unblocking toilets, changing taps, seals, etc.
- General building fabric maintenance
- Escorting and overseeing sub‑contractors
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday – 40‑hour week – Overtime available at weekends
- Rotating shifts: 07:00–16:00 / 08:00–17:00 / 10:00–19:00
- No call‑out requirement

- Basic salary up to £44,700 per annum

Requirements
- Electrically qualified – C&G 2330 / NVQ Level 2 (minimum), Level 3 preferred
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) – essential
- Copies of all trade certificates will be required upon application
- Proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
- Strong customer service and communication skills
