Mobile Electrical Installation Engineer

Location: Thetford (UK-wide travel required)

Salary: £37,000 – £42,000 PA & daily expenses allowance

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

This mobile position requires regular travel across the UK. Successful candidates typically work away Monday to Friday, with accommodation and expenses fully covered. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and assemble bespoke electrical control panels and systems
• Interpret and work from wiring schematics and layout drawings
• Carry out cable termination and electrical assembly to a high standard
• Work with galvanised trunking and conduit systems
• Support basic mechanical assembly tasks where required
• Work both independently and collaboratively on sites across the UK

Candidate Experience / Qualifications

• Previous experience in electrical installation or a similar role
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles
• Experience in cable termination and electrical assembly
• High standards of workmanship with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working at height
• Valid CSCS or ECS card OR previously held one and happy to refresh
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (desirable)
