Regional Relief Sales Consultant – Norfolk

Simon Acres Recruitment are looking for a personable, driven, and positive Regional Relief Sales Consultant for a well-established, highly successful, and growing Furniture retailer.

The Regional Relief Sales Consultant is responsible for providing cover as/when needed in the client’s Dereham, Norwich, North Walsham, and Lowestoft branches.

Job specification

• Valid UK driving license required
• Starting Salary: £23,690 Basic With £45-50k OTE
• Working Hours: 5 days per week (Mon-Sat 9am to 5:30pm, Sun 10am to 4pm) Hours may differ slightly depending on store
• 45p per mile allowance for travel to stores that are not the candidate’s base store

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop both new and existing customers through excellent customer care and ethical sales methods
• Achieve your performance KPI’s
• Provide outstanding customer service at all times, resolving all customer queries quickly and efficiently, managing situations to result in successful conclusions
• Being able to handle telesales calls in between the store’s footfall
• Being able to adapt to new technology to help enhance customer experience
• Work flexibly and as part of the team, ensuring stock is replenished and displayed to the required standard
• Carry out daily cash handling routines
• Adhering to data protection policies at all times
• Changing POS and updating pricing changes within the store
• Ensuring the store is clean and presentable at all times

Requirements

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Be smart and presentable at all times
• Have the drive to hit KPIs & targets
• Be able to listen to a customer’s needs and match to an appropriate product
• Have experience of active sales with a proven track record
• Minimum of 1 year’s retail sales experience
• Advantage – Furniture sales experience
