Senior Sales Consultant, Financial Services and Insurance

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a sales professional with a demonstrable track record in software and solution selling, ideally to Financial Services customers. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, high-energy, relationship-driven leader responsible for selling Microsoft business applications, open-source and AWS software, and professional services solutions across the FS&I sector (including banks, investment firms, brokerages and insurance companies).

You will lead sales opportunities into existing and new FS&I sector customers, develop your own accounts and new business pursuits, and form effective internal virtual team relationships with solutions and client services leads in pursuit of the FS&I sector business plan targets.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets, prospect opportunities, qualify leads, and lead complex selling campaigns.
  • Manage virtual teams, pipeline, and accurate sales forecasting.
  • Own the sales function’s contributions to proposition and bid writing in response to structured procurement processes.
  • Pursue and close opportunities across FS&I sector accounts and new target clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver compelling solutions and client value.

Required Experience

  • 5-10+ years of demonstrable success in selling professional services and cloud software solutions to enterprise-level customers.
  • Extensive experience leading major sales campaigns with C-suite engagement and deal values typically between £500k and £2M+.
  • Experience selling software design, development/build and test professional services.
  • Experience selling Microsoft business applications and Azure solutions; experience with open-source and AWS-based software solutions.
  • Knowledge of solution selling into FS&I sector industries and ability to build and execute opportunity, account and territory/sector sales plans.
  • Proven ability to drive sustainable sales success through a consultative, relationship-based approach.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Degree level education.
  • Wider IT industry experience to participate in cross-selling initiatives within the Kerv Group.
