The Global Philanthropy team is part of Corporate Responsibility and deploys philanthropic capital to community partners that deliver innovative models and solutions to advance an economy that works for all. We focus on creating systems change and driving sustainable impact in Business Growth & Entrepreneurship, Careers & Skills, and Financial Health across more than 35 markets worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support philanthropic initiatives in Europe, focused on Business Growth and Entrepreneurship programming as well as contributing to Careers and Skills programming and the broader Corporate Responsibility agenda.
  • Design, plan, execute and monitor grants.
  • Source and structure partnerships with leading organizations to address community needs and support the development of the local grant‑making strategy that aligns to firm‑wide priorities.
  • Determine success measures for these programs.
  • Conduct effective due diligence and risk analysis to ensure the firm’s resources and reputation are protected.
  • Manage live grants to ensure that the funded work is delivered according to plan, impact reports are submitted, and internal processes are followed to manage risks.
  • Manage internal reporting systems, perform regular data analysis and maintain the grants database to keep grant‑making data accurate and up to date.
  • Assist the broader Global Philanthropy team to address ad‑hoc requests and support the firm’s Corporate Responsibility strategy implementation.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience and/or knowledge of entrepreneurship growth related to access to capital and technical assistance for underserved entrepreneurs.
  • Experience in grant‑making and/or working with social impact organizations, corporate responsibility, or impact investing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Self‑starter and ability to work both in a team and independently, driving projects and programme development.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines under pressure.
  • Effective engagement with stakeholders at all levels on complex issues.
  • Good balance of analytical, commercial, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in other European languages.
  • Good knowledge or understanding of the European funding landscape.
