About the Role
We are seeking a driven, strategic, and results‑focused Senior Sales Manager to support our continued global expansion. You will play a critical role in growing our client portfolio with emphasis on mid‑market and enterprise organisations. In this position you’ll build strong relationships with key decision‑makers, articulate the value of Progyny’s solutions, and deliver personalized strategies that address each client’s unique needs.
Responsibilities
Pipeline Generation
- Partner with Sales Leadership to shape strategy and open new opportunities.
- Drive personal pipeline generation through prospecting, outbound outreach, and targeted research.
- Maintain predictable pipeline development through disciplined and consistent profile mapping.
- Develop and execute approaches to identify opportunities with large enterprise clients.
End‑to‑End Sales Ownership
- Lead the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to discovery, solution design, negotiation, and closing.
- Deliver strong sales presentations that communicate value and differentiation.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including Product, Finance, Client Success, and Care to ensure seamless handovers.
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts aligned with customer needs and company goals.
Forecasting & Reporting
- Maintain accurate CRM records and stage progression.
- Provide consistent, disciplined forecasting to support predictable revenue planning.
- Leverage insights and data to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales within healthcare technology or enterprise SaaS.
- Demonstrated track record selling £100,000–£1,000,000+ ARR contracts and managing complex 9+ month cycles.
- Skilled across the full sales toolkit: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing.
- Experience navigating multi‑phase sales processes, procurement steps, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret and present insights clearly.
- Able to simplify complex concepts and communicate them persuasively to senior stakeholders.
- Results‑driven and motivated by achieving and surpassing targets.
