We are looking for an experienced Cafe Manager to join the team at Barbican Centre.
TheBarbican Kitchenis located in the Barbican Estate in the City of London. An all year Café/Restaurant open from 10am to 8pm – Monday to Sunday. The cafe serves freshly made pizza, sandwiches, salads, and a selection of street food.
Shifts: 5 days out of 7 (including weekends)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
About the Cafe Manager role:
- To supervise, manage and motivate the team
- To make sure that the operation runs smoothly
- To ensure the customers experience is always maintained to the highest standard
- To continuously work towards improving sales and service
- Supporting and managing the performance of the team through ongoing evaluations, listening, training, and mentoring
- Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are always maintained
The ideal candidate will possess good food and beverage knowledge in addition to outstanding customer service, and leadership skills.
