Student Services supports students at each stage of their journey from pre‑entry to post exit, placing students’ needs at the heart of everything it does.
Responsibilities
As an Enrichment Officer you will carry out the Safeguarding Officer role, identify and report Safeguarding concerns, provide ongoing support to students identified as at risk, and lead on developing, delivering, planning, and coordinating enrichment activities that build resilience, employability and social skills. You will promote positive relationships with students, challenge inappropriate behaviour and signpost to support services.
Qualifications
- Level 3 or above qualification in Youth & Community, Education, Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care or IAG.
- Experience working with young people aged 16‑19 from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience planning, coordinating and delivering enrichment activities in an educational setting.
- Ability to engage large numbers of young people and increase participation.
- Knowledge of relevant external organisations that can support enrichment opportunities.
- Strong initiative, organisational and prioritising skills.
