Responsibilities
- Behavioural marketing and recruitment activities for fostering applications.
- Deliver Skills to Foster training to prospective foster carers.
- Manage the Council’s social media pages and deliver preparatory training.
- Act as the first point of contact for potential foster carers, including initial enquiries and visits.
- Conduct and report on home visits, initiate checks, references and other assessments.
- Support and organise fostering events and community engagement activities.
- Provide flexibility to work out‑of‑hours and on weekends to meet service needs.
Qualifications
- Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not offered).
- Good knowledge of recruiting, training delivery or event management; a background in marketing, social media or social care is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to high‑quality service delivery.
- A genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and families.
- Must pass a Police Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
