Overview

Transaction Recruitment is supporting our Birmingham city centre based client in their search for an experienced Payroll Officer to join them on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of a dynamic payroll function which is responsible for taking ownership of weekly and month in-house payrolls from start to finish for 2000+ employees. This position offers hybrid working.

Daily duties and experience required

  • Previous experience working within a fast paced payroll department
  • Processing starters and leavers
  • Calculating holiday and national insurance
  • Calculating SSP, SMP and SPP
  • Pensions knowledge
  • Query resolution
  • Confident user of Excel
  • Previous experience using iTrent would be advantageous
