The Role
As Senior Client Manager, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of owner‑managed businesses (OMBs), SMEs and growing companies across Newton Abbot and the wider Devon area.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied portfolio of business clients
- Overseeing the preparation and review of statutory accounts and management accounts
- Providing business advisory and commercial guidance
- Reviewing work prepared by junior and mid‑level team members
- Acting as the primary point of contact for key clients
- Supporting tax compliance in collaboration with specialist teams
- Mentoring and developing staff
- Contributing to business development and growth initiatives
About You
To be considered for this Senior Client Manager job in Newton Abbot, you will:
- Be ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
- Have strong UK accountancy practice experience
- Be confident managing your own client portfolio
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in accounts and general practice
- Possess excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
