An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a well‑established, employee‑owned multidisciplinary engineering consultancy. Based in and around Swindon with a head office in Leeds, this growing business delivers civil, structural and geoenvironmental services across a wide range of developments throughout the UK. Role
- Undertaking ground investigation and site inspection work
- Logging soil and rock samples to current industry standards
- Carrying out groundwater and soil sampling
- Producing factual and interpretative reports
- Supporting geotechnical assessments and contaminated land investigations
- Assisting with remediation strategies and risk assessments
- Liaising with clients, contractors and internal teams
- Supporting projects from initial site appraisal through to construction phases
Qualifications
- A degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or a related discipline
- Previous geoenvironmental or geotechnical consultancy experience
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- A full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
- The ability to commute to or live near the office
- Knowledge of ground investigation and contaminated land practices
