About the Role
We are working on behalf of a leading law firm in London that is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join their thriving Property team. As a solicitor, you will work closely alongside experienced fee earners and partners, managing your own caseload of residential property matters with supervision and support where needed. The firm is committed to ongoing development and offers a clear pathway to progression, including exposure to high-profile clients and complex work.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of residential property matters from instruction to completion.
- Handling sales, purchases, remortgages, leasehold and freehold transactions, and transfer of equity.
- Communicating with clients, agents, and other solicitors to progress transactions efficiently.
- Conducting title checks, searches, and preparing contracts and reports.
- Ensuring all files are compliant with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Supporting senior solicitors and contributing to team performance where required.
Requirements
- NQ – 2 years PQE Residential Solicitor with completed training in residential conveyancing.
- Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process, ideally including experience managing own caseload.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
- Proactive and able to manage a busy workload in a fast-paced environment.
