Health and Safety Manager – Laboratories
Salary: up to £50,000, plus benefits
Location: Oxford (5 days per week on‑site)

We are seeking a highly motivated Health and Safety Manager for a dynamic life sciences property and lab operations facility. This hybrid position plays a crucial role in supporting scientific clients and maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary onsite liaison for lab clients, managing onboarding and ongoing client services.
- Oversee day‑to‑day building operations, including maintenance, repairs, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate laboratory safety, chemical inventories, equipment installation, and compliance protocols.
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, lab permits, and incident documentation.
- Support community engagement activities, events, and client feedback initiatives.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in property or laboratory operations within a life sciences setting.
- Strong knowledge of lab safety procedures, chemical management, and compliance standards.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple operational workflows and client relationships.
- Good organisational skills with a solutions‑driven, customer‑focused approach.
- NEBOSH/H&S qualified would be desirable.
