RSM UK Legal is growing its Legal 500‑ranked employment team and seeks an ambitious Employment Solicitor to drive expansion plans in London. As an Employment Solicitor, you will supervise junior solicitors, manage your own caseload, and develop relationships with new and existing UK and international corporate clients.
Location: London, Birmingham or Manchester office on a hybrid schedule.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Serving as the point of contact for the team on specific employment law matters.
- Identifying, leading, and progressing business development opportunities, pitching for work with new and existing clients.
- Proactively identifying future changes in employment law and government policy.
- Demonstrating technical expertise with premium, solutions‑driven service to clients.
- Developing future talent by supervising and assisting junior team members with their personal development.
What we are looking for:
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law including employment status, holiday pay, equal pay, National Minimum Wage, due diligence work, and employment tribunal claims.
- Experience developing client relationships and proactively identifying issues and finding solutions.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet client deadlines.
- Experience working in a team environment on projects and transactional matters.
- Experience with advocacy and dealing with regulatory inspections.
