Overview
Scottish Water is launching a Graduate Programme within the Procurement & Supply Chain (PSC) team. The role is a permanent contract beginning on 24 August, with a starting salary of £30,000, increasing by up to £1,000 after each successful 6‑month placement and reaching a minimum of £37,815 at Grade6.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop initiatives for partner ecosystems, supply‑chain carbon reduction and broader PSC transformation projects, focusing on Beyond Net‑Zero, standardisation and the circular economy (Supply Chain Innovation Team).
- Implement risk‑management strategies, maintain effective governance, and enforce procurement rules within the Risk & Ethics Team.
- Provide high‑quality data and performance analysis, reporting on procurement and capital investment activities, and value‑for‑money metrics (Performance & Analytics Team).
- Manage integrated supply‑chain processes to improve efficiency and stakeholder communication.
- Take commercial ownership of a portfolio of assignments, working hand‑in‑hand with industry experts across the organisation.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate (within the last three years) with a minimum 2:2 grade.
- Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Management, Legal, Social Sciences, Sustainability or related disciplines.
- Resident within commuting distance of the Stepps office near Glasgow.
- Full UK‑issued DVLA driving licence or pending licence.
