Everything you need to know about the role
As a Clinical Research Physician, you will support the delivery of both clinical trials and private services under senior clinical supervision, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality patient care.
You’ll be involved in:
- Conducting follow-up consultations and monitoring patient progress
- Prescribing and managing treatment in line with protocols and consultant guidance
- Reviewing clinical histories, results, and ongoing care needs
- Supporting informed consent and patient eligibility assessments
- Maintaining accurate medical records and study documentation
- Assisting with adverse event reporting and safety monitoring
- Supporting governance, audit, and inspection readiness activities
- Participating in clinical rotas and supporting service delivery
Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit
- GMC-registered doctor with strong clinical experience (Essential)
- Interest in clinical research and/or neurology, psychiatry, or related specialties
- Good understanding of clinical governance and GCP standards
- Strong communication, documentation, and organisational skills
- Able to work confidently across clinical and research environments
