A leading regional law firm is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Partner to join its highly regarded Commercial Dispute Resolution team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Partner or a senior lawyer ready to step into partnership, offering the chance to play a significant role in shaping the future growth and strategic direction of a successful disputes practice.

About the Opportunity

The team advises businesses, owner-managed companies, entrepreneurs and individuals on a broad range of contentious matters, including:

  • Commercial and contractual disputes
  • Shareholder and partnership disputes
  • Professional negligence claims
  • Construction and property-related disputes
  • Regulatory and compliance issues
  • High-value and complex litigation
  • Alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration

The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced and collaborative team, helping to develop the practice while maintaining exceptional standards of client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the growth and strategic development of the Dispute Resolution practice
  • Lead business development initiatives and build strong referral networks
  • Develop and maintain key client relationships
  • Advise on complex, high-value contentious matters
  • Mentor and develop junior lawyers and fee earners
  • Contribute to the firm’s wider commercial and strategic objectives
  • Represent the practice through networking, speaking engagements and industry events
  • Drive financial performance through effective matter management and client growth

About You

Essential

  • Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in commercial dispute resolution
  • Strong track record handling complex and high-value litigation
  • Demonstrable business development success and client relationship management skills
  • Commercially focused with a pragmatic approach to dispute resolution
  • Established professional network and ability to generate new instructions
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent technical legal expertise and drafting skills
  • Collaborative and approachable leadership style
