Key Responsibiliti

• Deputise for the Director of Strategic Communications and support delivery of strategic prioritie
• s.Lead and manage the Strategic Communications team, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective resource plannin
• g.Develop and oversee strategic communications plans for major institutional campaigns and initiative
• s.Drive audience insight, segmentation, persona development, and data-informed decision makin
• g.Lead communications monitoring, evaluation, performance measurement, and reporting framework
• s.Support the development and implementation of strategic communications best practice across the wider communications communit
• y.Work closely with senior communications leaders across public affairs, brand, marketing, internal communications, events, and publication
• s.Manage stakeholder relationships across a complex organisation and influence at senior level
• s.Lead horizon scanning and strategic insight activities to identify emerging opportunities and risk
• s.Contribute to communications innovation, including AI strategy development and culture change initiative
• s.Provide leadership, coaching, and line management to direct report

• ntsSignificant experience in strategic communications, corporate communications, public affairs, marketing communications, or a related fie
• ld.Proven experience developing and delivering large-scale communications strategies and campaig
• ns.Strong understanding of communications measurement, evaluation, audience insight, and data analyti
• cs.Experience managing teams and developing high-performing communication professiona
• ls.Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skil
• ls.Ability to operate effectively within a large, complex organisati
