About the Role

Matchtech is supporting an International offshore wind Developer in recruiting a PMO Manager to a current offshore wind project. This a senior leadership role supporting a large, complex, multi billion Euro programme, where you will play a key part in driving governance, performance, and delivery excellence across all project phases.

As part of the Senior Management Team (SMT), you will work closely with the Project Leadership Team (PLT), ensuring robust project controls, effective resource management, and alignment with strategic objectives from early development through to construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead project governance structures, processes, and systems
  • Manage and develop a multidisciplinary PMO team (analysts, planners, document controllers, administrators)
  • Oversee project controls including planning, cost, risk, change and reporting
  • Develop and implement dashboards and performance tracking tools
  • Ensure effective document control systems (EDMS) are in place and functioning
  • Lead change control processes and project assurance reviews
  • Coordinate with risk, cost and interface management functions
  • Manage resource planning, recruitment and allocation across the project
  • Drive continuous improvement, lessons learned and knowledge sharing
  • Deliver regular reporting (weekly, monthly, ad hoc) to project stakeholders
  • Promote high standards of Health, Safety, Wellbeing, and Environmental practices

Skills & Experience Required

  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline
  • Proven experience as a PMO Manager on large scale infrastructure or offshore wind projects
  • Strong background in:
  • Cost management and scheduling
  • Risk analysis and change control
  • Project assurance and governance
  • Experience with tools such as Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis and EDMS
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Power BI desirable
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage and motivate high performing, multidisciplinary teams
