.We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to join a luxury accessories department within one of London’s most iconic department stores. Reporting into the Store Director, you will lead from the front, driving commercial performance while delivering an exceptional client experience. This is a people-focused leadership role requiring strong coaching capability, commercial awareness, and a passion for developing talent within a high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire and motivate a medium-sized sales team to consistently deliver exceptional client service.
- Drive sales performance, productivity and KPI achievement across the department.
- Monitor trading performance daily and implement action plans to maximise opportunities.
- Lead by example on the shop floor, acting as a visible and credible leader for the team.
- Elevate the client experience through personalised service, relationship building and client retention strategies.
- Drive clientelling initiatives, ensuring the team actively develops, recruits and retains high-value clients.
- Coach, mentor and develop team members through regular feedback, performance reviews and in-the-moment coaching.
- Partner with Training and Store Leadership teams to enhance product knowledge, selling skills and service excellence.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and succession planning to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Maintain exceptional visual merchandising, operational and luxury service standards at all times.
- Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performance culture within the department.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Team Manager, Department Manager or equivalent leadership role within luxury reail.
- Strong accessories background, with the ability to act as a credible product expert and coach.
- Demonstrable success driving commercial performance, client engagement and KPI delivery.
- Exceptional people leadership skills with experience developing and motivating teams.
- Strong coaching and training capability, with a passion for nurturing talent.
- Confident communicator with natural gravitas and the ability to influence at all levels.
- Highly organised, adaptable and comfortable working within a fast-paced luxury environment.
- Passion for delivering world-class service and creating memorable client experiences.
- Experience working within a premium or luxury department store environment would be advantageous.
