What you will do

  • Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Rehabilitation: Deliver high-quality interventions to support patients in regaining functional independence.
  • Discharge Planning: Facilitate safe and effective discharge processes in collaboration with the wider MDT.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support the Occupational Therapy team, offering mentorship and guidance.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records using SystmOne, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care delivery.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Minimum 5 years post-registration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of moving and handling principles and BLS.
  • Experience using SystmOne.
  • Full UK driving licence, as travel may be required.
