Home Care – Care Assistant – £13.70 (Salford / Swinton)

Part‑time and full‑time hours available.

Remuneration

• £13.70 per hour
• Mileage paid at 45p per mile
• Paid induction process

Key Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients, ensuring meaningful social interaction.
• Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, showering, dressing and grooming.
• Help with daily tasks such as meal preparation and light housework.
• Accompany clients to appointments and shopping trips.
• Match client needs with visit times, providing minimum 1 hour of care per visit.

Core Working Conditions

• Required to work at least 2 evenings per week and alternate weekends.
• Core hours: 8:00‑13:00 and 16:45‑21:30, with possibility of additional hours.
• Must be resident within Salford.
• Must be over 18 years old.

Qualifications & Eligibility

• Essential: driver with a vehicle insured in your name, Class A business insurance.
• Essential: GCSE level English or equivalent.
• Formal care experience not required; full training provided.
• Subject to DBS check.
