Delivery Centre Support Worker

Early Help Service – Education and Children’s Services

Location: Various across Lancashire

Salary: £25,185 – £25,989

Grade: 4

About the Role

Act as the first point of contact for visitors to neighbourhood centres.

Support bookings, appointments, and service user records using IT systems.

Assist with maintaining a safe and clean environment, including basic checks and displays.

Provide information and signposting to families and service users.

Occasionally support group sessions to ensure smooth delivery and appropriate supervision.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with service users and colleagues.
  • Confidence in using IT systems for bookings and record-keeping.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and health and safety.
  • Flexibility to work outside core hours when needed.
