OverviewWe are seeking a professional and experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team, covering the south east region including Kent, London, and surrounding counties, down towards Brighton. The role involves working on a range of plant machinery such as excavators, dumpers, loaders, telehandlers, rollers, and more. We offer a competitive hourly rate of £17-£19, a company vehicle with fuel card, pension, private healthcare, and overtime paid at time and a half for a 42.5-hour week.
Responsibilities– Conducting maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of plant machinery– Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs in a timely manner– Completing relevant paperwork and documentation accurately– Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications– Proven experience in working with plant machinery– Relevant technical qualifications or apprenticeship– Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems– Valid driving license
Day-to-day– Travelling to different sites to carry out maintenance and repairs– Communicating effectively with colleagues and clients– Managing workload efficiently and prioritizing tasks as needed
