Job Role
- Providing advice and guidance on all HR matters
- Ensuring all company policies and procedures are complied with
- Ensuring an efficient recruitment and selection process is conducted
- Updating and maintaining records and sending relevant daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Following the absence management process in conjunction with department managers
- Coordinating occupational health and liaising effectively with all concerned parties
- Conducting investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances with relevant departmental managers in a timely manner
- Maintaining a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality within the department at all times
- Proactively working with employees at all levels of the business
- Ensuring performance management process (KPIs) adherence across the site and updating relevant reports in a timely manner
- Participating and supporting group HR projects
- Driving site employee engagement
Requirements
- Educated to degree level in either HR or Business related discipline, or educated to A Level or equivalent combined with at least 1 year experience in a HR role
- Professional work ethic with integrity and confidentiality at all times
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated business decision making and negotiation skills
- Proactive approach and ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good planning, organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Good IT literacy
