Personal Assistant- GHSS – Sessional

About the Role

We are an award‑winning social care charity looking for Personal Assistants (Support Workers) to make a positive difference in the lives of the people we support. Each day is unique, but we guarantee you will support individuals who require help to achieve their goals and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist supporters with personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support.
• Expand the social networks and connections of the people we support.
• Provide in‑home support to adults with learning disabilities, ensuring they live happy and healthy lives.
• Help maintain tenancy, build relationships, and explore interests such as local clubs or events.
• Work collaboratively with a bespoke team and also take initiative on your own.
• Support personal budgeting, planning shopping, meal preparation and household upkeep.

Qualifications & Skills

• No prior care experience required – we recruit based on values and transferrable skills.
• A passion for making a positive difference in people’s lives.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
