Are you a hands‑on Reliability Technician who thrives on preventing breakdowns before they happen? Do you enjoy using advanced diagnostic tools to drive performance in a high‑volume, fast‑paced manufacturing environment?

We are partnering with a global manufacturing leader looking for someone to take ownership of condition monitoring and play a key role in maximising equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and improving plant performance.

About the Role

This is a highly visible role where you’ll act as the technical expert for predictive maintenance, using data and diagnostics to identify faults before they impact production.

You’ll work at the heart of a performance‑driven, automated production environment, directly contributing to uptime, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

What you’ll be doing

  • Carrying out vibration analysis using specialist equipment, identifying faults and recommending corrective actions
  • Performing thermal imaging inspections to detect early‑stage equipment issues
  • Using ultrasonic testing techniques for condition assessment and fault detection
  • Conducting detailed visual inspections of plant equipment
  • Analysing data to support proactive and predictive maintenance strategies
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and supporting audit requirements
  • Updating maintenance systems with findings and recommendations
  • Working closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues quickly
  • Supporting the continuous development of predictive maintenance tools, techniques, and technologies
  • Liaising with suppliers for specialist parts and technical support

Wider impact

  • Driving improvements in equipment performance, uptime, and reliability
  • Supporting site‑wide TPM and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Promoting a strong safety‑first culture across the plant
  • Contributing to efficiency improvements through data‑driven insights

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in condition monitoring / predictive maintenance, including:
  • Vibration analysis
  • Thermography
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence interpreting technical data
  • Experience working in a high‑volume manufacturing or production environment
  • A proactive, problem‑solving mindset focused on prevention, not reaction
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
  • Familiarity with maintenance systems and quality standards (e.g. IATF) is advantageous

What’s on offer

  • Competitive salary + overtime opportunities
  • Ongoing training and development in advanced diagnostic techniques
  • Opportunity to work with modern equipment in a high‑performance plant environment
  • A key role with real impact on production reliability and site performance
