Overview

Randstad UK Holding Limited seeks experienced Support Workers to assist users within Older People or Adult Learning Disability services at Day Centres across Belfast and Newtownabbey. The role offers a pay rate of £12.75 per hour, Monday‑Friday 9 am‑3:30 pm shifts, with no late evenings or weekends.

Requirements

• NISCC registration essential
• Enhanced vetting, including Access NI check
• Minimum 6–12 months Health Care Assistant or Support Worker experience
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care desirable
• Immunisation records up to date including MMR
• Previous experience in a day centre or residential health care setting highly desirable

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Support worker / care assistant / social care worker experience

Responsibilities

• Provide daily assistance to the management team within a Day Centre environment
• Interact and develop caring & professional relationships with all Service Users
• Engage with users, including those who may be non‑verbal
• Participate fully in planning and execution of therapeutic activities
• Mobility assistance
• Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration
• Provide toileting & personal care if required
• Basic administration and reporting
