Day Support Worker

About the role

We are looking for a confident Day Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care at Beeches, a specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all service users, patients & residents.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required.
• Safeguard and maintain a safe and clean environment for all.
• Support service user independence and promote community integration.

Employment details

• Full time, 42 hours per week (12 hour day shifts only).
• Pay: £13.15 per hour.
• Flexible working with opportunity for overtime.
• Professional development: Apprenticeship scheme, coaching & appraisal, expert supervision & peer support.
