About the Service
East Anglia community services support 10 adults (male and female) in 4 separate supported living homes ranging from 3 adults living together to a single person service. These services are located in Mildenhall, Kenny Hill and Beck Row in Suffolk.
The services promote independence and are person‑centred services. The adults who live in these services regularly access the community and they all have their own vehicles. The adults we support are supported with medication and personal care depending on their level of support needs.
About the Role
We are looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker. Your role is to help people live their best lives by following their support plans and daily routines. We currently have an occupational requirement for female only applicants for this position as the support package involves female personal care.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, eating)
- Encourage activities they enjoy (swimming, hiking, arts & crafts)
What We’re Looking For
- Inspire others with a positive attitude towards supporting vulnerable people
- Experience with autistic people is helpful but not essential
- Personal experience or a passion for helping others is welcome
This advert is for a full‑time position at 40 hours per week. Your working pattern will require flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported and their families and will include evening and weekend working.
Possession of a driving licence (minimum one year) is essential.
