Pay: £12.82 per hour; After 48 hours £19.23; Unsociable hours £16.03

Role and Key Duties

• Deal with customer queries politely and effectively, ensuring satisfaction before leaving.
• Ensure customers promptly receive deliveries in excellent condition.
• Keep customers informed of estimated delivery times and any issues that arise.
• Assist in loading vehicles as required.
• Confirm customer satisfaction with delivery before departure.
• Follow all relevant instructions, training and quality standards.
• Use equipment, materials and systems correctly, reporting any faults, hazards or concerns promptly.

Candidate Requirements

• Excellent communication skills face‑to‑face and on the phone.
• Ability to build rapport with customers.
• Problem‑solving skills, resolving issues at the point of delivery.
• Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Be flexible with shifts and duties, maintaining excellent timekeeping.
• Be smartly presented at all times and detail‑focused.
• Must be willing to upskill to a driver in the future.

Essential: Ability to follow instructions, work safely and meet the standards required for the role.

Desirable: Customer Service Experience.
