Affinity Partnerships are working with a specialist setting for pupils aged 9-19 with a range of additional needs, including complex autism, and are seeking to appoint a passionate and engaging Maths Teacher who is committed to making a real difference in young people’s lives.
About the Role
You will deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across Key Stages 2-5, supporting students to achieve their full potential both academically and personally. Working within a supportive SEND environment, you will adapt your teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs while promoting confidence, independence and resilience.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated Maths lessons
- Support students’ academic progress and emotional development
- Teach individuals, small groups, or whole classes as required
- Monitor, assess and report on student progress
- Create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with support staff, families and external professionals
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Maths to secondary-aged students
- Knowledge of SEND, particularly autism or additional learning needs
- Ability to build strong relationships and engage learners
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
