Teacher of Science

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Churchill for a Teacher of Science. The role involves planning and delivering engaging science lessons, with an emphasis on Physics preferred, to ensure academic progress for students of varying abilities. The Teacher of Science will actively contribute to a collaborative and supportive learning environment, while upholding the Academy’s values and high standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Science Education with expertise in Physics preferred
• Relevant teaching qualification and status as a Qualified Teacher
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• An ability to inspire, challenge, and motivate students to achieve excellence
• Passion for continuous professional growth and contributing to school improvement
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area and QTS in September 2026 is essential
• Experience with extra-curricular contributions is an advantage
