You’ll work with children aged 8 to 16 at Castlefell School, a purpose‑built state‑of‑the‑art facility. The role requires resilience, dedication and a passion for supporting pupils in developing their abilities and self‑esteem.

Responsibilities

• Teach and support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
• Help pupils learn, develop abilities and raise self‑esteem.
• Collaborate with psychologists, teaching assistants, therapists and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
• Adapt lessons to meet individual pupil needs and progress.

Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience.
• Qualified Teacher Status.
• Ability to relate subject to each pupil and build strong relationships.
• Positive, collaborative attitude and enthusiasm for teaching.
