Multi Trade Operative
Location: Site based covering Southampton, Portsmouth, Gosport, Chichester, Guildford and surrounding areas. Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours plus out of hours on call.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Multi Trade Operative to join Novus Property Solutions, Responsive Repairs division, providing high-quality joinery/plumbing, multi trade repairs and replacement services within Social Housing tenanted properties.
This role will support you, value your skills, give you stability, whilst keeping your work interesting and meaningful.

Responsibilities
- Perform repairs or replacements of various windows, doors, kitchens, tiling and patch plastering.
- Carry out vinyl floor laying (cap and cove) where required.
- Execute basic plumbing repairs, including toilets, baths, shower trays, basins and taps.
- Install and repair pipework, soil stacks and domestic drainage systems.
- Work in tenanted properties on responsive repairs schedules.
- Operate job tickets or handheld devices daily, linked to a live shared system.
- Manage your own day and workload effectively, ensuring outstanding customer service while working in clients’ homes.
- Follow Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Multi Trade Operative background with joinery experience essential.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Joinery/plumbing or multi-trade.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Social Housing experience.
- DSB check (to be completed).
