What you’ll be doing:
Within the Mechanical Solutions division, the main responsibilities of an Onshore Electrical Technician are to ensure that all equipment is properly serviced, maintained, tested, labelled, identified, stored safely, calibrated, and packaged correctly before delivery. The role will also involve performing hydraulic and electrical safety tests, as well as commissioning when necessary.
- Inspecting, testing, repairing, and preparing Solutions equipment
- Performing necessary maintenance activities as needed, ensuring proper documentation
- Commissioning new equipment and premob equipment as required
- Completing necessary paperwork, including maintenance reports, timesheets, expenses, and customer satisfaction forms
- Attending onshore mobilisation, providing technical support and on-call support as needed to customers
- Interfacing with the client’s representative at the onshore site for planning, organising, and executing the work
- Participating in pre/post-job reviews, ensuring risk assessments are done and corrective actions are implemented

What experience you’ll bring:
- Qualification in electrical engineering or a similar electrical subject
- Experience in a technician role undertaking repair, maintenance, and testing, preferably in subsea equipment
- Ability to read and implement engineering drawings
- Problem-solving capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills
