Teach Ways is collaborating with a Primary school located in the vibrant and diverse community of Brent to find a full-time Year 5 Teacher to join them in September 2026

Year 5 Teacher Job Description:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and creativity
• Conduct assessments, provide timely feedback, and track student progress
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies
• Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to facilitate effective communication and collaboration

The Ideal Year 5 Teacher will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Hold a recent and clear Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
• Experience teaching in KS2, ideally with Year 5
• A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
• The ability to inspire and motivate young learners
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A commitment to inclusive education and supporting children of all abilities
