Job Overview

We’re looking for an experienced, empathetic Home Care Assistant to join our team. You’ll provide person-centred care to clients in their own homes, supporting their daily living needs and improving their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Support mobility and transfers
• Administer medication as per care plans
• Light housekeeping
• Accompany clients to appointments and social activities
• Monitor and report changes in health or well-being
• Maintain a safe, comfortable home environment
• Keep accurate records and follow safeguarding and company policies
• Build positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ UK domiciliary care experience (essential)
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Caring, patient, reliable, and positive
• Flexible and able to work independently
• Full UK manual driving licence and willingness to travel locally
• Right to work in the UK
• Available to work evenings and weekends as needed
