Normanton | Potential Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
We are currently recruiting 2 experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers on behalf of our client based in Normanton. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position with a well-established transport operation.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: Monday 29th June
- End Date: Friday 28th August
- Potential temp-to-perm opportunity available
- Day shifts with typical start times of 05:00 or 06:00
- HGV Class 1 (C+E) deliveries and collections
- Curtainsider trailers (palletised goods, no handball)
- Trunking between depots, RDCs and client sites
- Monday to Friday work
- £17.25 per hour (PAYE)
- Weekly PAYE pay
Driver Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 1 year’s Class 1 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- No serious endorsements (including DD, DR, CD, IN or TT codes)
- Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
