Higher Level Teaching Assistant

A super friendly & creative Primary School based in Newham is looking to recruit a confident and creative Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support students across EYFS, KS1 & KS2. This is a September 2026 start role, long‑term and full‑time position.

Responsibilities

• Work with students across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 (Year 1‑6)
• Support students with mild SEN (ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, Speech & Language issues)
• Plan and deliver small group and 1:1 work
• Use creativity and imagination to engage students with the primary curriculum

Qualifications

• Experience within the classroom (e.g., Tutor, Cover Supervisor or HLTA) is essential
• Confident and enthusiastic personality
• Creative and able to develop innovative and fun ideas and activities

Salary and Location

• £26,400 per annum – permanent
• Start: September 2026
• Location: London Borough of Newham
