Academics are working in partnership with a network of secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, and Cheshire, seeking committed Humanities Teachers to support their schools from September onwards.

Whether you’re looking for flexible day‑to‑day supply work or a long‑term teaching position, we have a range of opportunities available to suit you!

Humanities Teacher – Role Information:

  • Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Adapt confidently to different school settings and classroom environments
  • Support students in developing their critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills
  • Opportunities for daily supply, short‑term assignments, and long‑term placements

Humanities Teacher – Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) in Humanities
  • Recent experience teaching Humanities at KS3 and KS4 level
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A proactive, adaptable, and professional approach
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
